NFL Sports Action Photo by Tampa Photographer Matt May Recognized by the Pro Football Hall of Fame
On May 2, 2013 the Pro Football Hall of Fame announced that one of my photos from the 2012 NFL season was awarded Third Place in the Action category of the 45th Annual Pro Football Hall of Fame Photo Contest. The photo shows Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Gerald McCoy losing his helmet while pressuring Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Brady Quinn during a game on October 14, 2012.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame Photo Contest is open to all photographers who cover NFL games and the entries were judged by some of the top photographers and photo editors in the business. View a gallery of all the winning photos here.
